Detox and Mint

I wanted to take a moment to discuss the 21-day detox I am doing. It involves giving up coffee and alcohol. Although you can drink Yerba Mate tea, which I have come to love! Did you know this tea has vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in it? Why have I not heard of this before?  It has been 10 days on the detox and I have to say, I am feeling good. Why Herbs?

The benefits of herbs: People have practiced natural medicine for centuries. before modern medicine and technology people relied on good old fashioned homemade remedies to treat illness or injuries.   My interest in herbal medicine is the intent to enhance the body’s ability to heal itself. I never realized its importance in my life until I moved to Montana where the availability of information and access to herbs was minimal. As I begin my journey of self-education in to the holistic benefits of herbs from meditation to teas, I hope you will join me. I know I cannot be the only person who wishes they knew more and want to change their health and wellbeing....
